SOURCES: Mary's approximate date and probable place of birth, her emigration information and the name of her husband were known from the Passe list of emigrants from Wettrup who settled in Wabasha, MN. With that information, an entry was identified for her as Maria Anna in Walter Tenfelde's book Auswanderungen und Auswanderer aus dem ehemaligen Kreise Lingen nach Nordamerika which supplied her date and place of birth and parents' names. The marriage information was taken from Dave Halm's database.
