Maria Adelheid's approximate year of birth was known from her age (21) at marriage in 1826 and her age on the passenger list of the ship Astracan. Her parents and their place of residence were named on her marriage record in 1826. Twist parish records were checked and a corresponding birth/bapt entry was found there for Anna Maria Adelheid. Marriage information, emigration date and information about the children was from the book Auswanderungsliste fuer die fruehere Pfarrgemeinde Twist in den Jahren 1838 - 1910 nach Amerika. Her marriage in 1846 was at St Francis Xavier parish.
