SOURCES: Dolores Rizzo was the source of all the information for Johan Heinrich. The date and place of birth and parents' names had church records as their source. Although Wietmarschen lies outside of present-day Emsland, in the 19th century it was just across the border from Lohne which was in Emsland rather than Bentheim at that time. Johan Heinrich is included here because of the proximity of his birth location and because he was married to an Emslander. The marriage record was at Holy Trinity parish.
