The second wife's surname was known from the baptismal record at St Joseph parish of the child born in 1848. The record of the child who died in 1846 was found at the Old Cathedral.

That allowed an entry for her to be identified in the book Auswanderungsliste fuer die fruehere Pfarrgemeinde Twist in den Jahren 1838 - 1910 nach Amerika which noted her parents' names and her year of emigration. Her birth information was then confirmed on the website www.genlias.nl in an entry for Maria Hezina Husen. Information about the children was from the WCdbs.
