Christina's birthdate as May 2, 1862 and her parents' names were noted in the WCdbs of Michael Ross and Dave Halm. Maria Gesina's approximate year of birth was known from her age at death and on censuses. Her parents' names were on her marriage record in 1860. That information allowed an entry for her family to be identified on the Waldhoefe 1852 census. Soegel parish records were checked and a corresponding birth/baptism entry was found there for Maria Gesina.
