LANGENHORST - Letter from Emsland emigrant Johan Clemens Langenhorst born in 1827 in Suttrup (parish in Thuine) describing his trip back to America in 1876. He had emigrated with his young family about 10 years earlier but after the death of his wife, he returned home for a new bride. This letter can be read in English translation or in the original German.
